| A-Lert Construction Services was the general contractor for the Prairie Pride soybean processing and biodiesel production plants. Construction on the project began in November of 2006. This facility is fully operational and capable of crushing 2,000 tons of soybeans per day and converting them into high protein soybean meal, pelleted soybean hulls and crude soybean oil. The 30 million gallons per year biodiesel plant refines the soybean oil and then processes the refined oil into biodiesel. The biodiesel facility was brought online in November of 2007 and the soybean processing plant was operational in September of 2008. In addition to all engineering and construction responsibilities, A-lert provided training for the plant operators and was involved in the start-up of the facility. |
