| A-Lert Construction Services was heavily involved with the construction of this 30 million gallon per year biodiesel production plant for Minnesota Soybean Processors. A-lert was responsible for the installation of the builidng and equipment foundations, floors and retaining walls, the procurement and erection of structural steel, siding and pipe racks, and the installation of chemical and product storage tanks, process equipment and load out equipment. A-Lert also fabricated and installed process and utility piping.
Construction began in November of 2004 and was completed in August of 2005. This facility is now fully operational. Using crude soybean oil as feedstock, the biodiesel plant refines the crude oil and then processes the refined oil into biodiesel. |
